There are few abstract pictures I clicked, of which all of them has some story behind it. I have linked these pictures to life of an entrepreneur.
The first is Life in a fast lane. We all know entrepreneurs have a fast paced life, have to keep up with every aspect of their startup/company and work to scale up or horizontal on every single day. This picture symbolizes that life an entrepreneur faces. They all have dreams and a hazy path to chase. Their startup is like this car, collectively moves forward and reaches the destination.
The Second is Run to live. An Entrepreneur always has to be on his toes and survive through all the odds. Importantly, a life of an Entrepreneur is like that of a Deer. A deer always has a fear from any carnivore, who chases him with an intention to eat him up. Here, the carnivores are the big fishes in the market, who are always looking for acquisitions, and an Entrepreneur always faces a dilemma, whether to get absorbed or survive through the odds.
The third and the final one is The King and the Queen. An Entrepreneur if survives through all the challenges of starting and scaling up, he is the king in the house. He will be a Venture Capitalist‘s delight, Startup community’s inspiration and some Buck’s worth. The picture is taken over a light’s reflection in the river.
And that’s how abstracts around us come across unnoticed and tells us stories and gives perspective to our imagination. Maybe, I am just too fascinated about Entrepreneurship these days!
Me and friend always thought of making a short film over our tenure of five years graduate program. But, due to our constant procrastinations and distractions, we could never make one. Now, the graduate program is coming to an end.
Finally, we made one. Alas!
English: Harvard Steps (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Build with motivation and passion of its founders, Vikram Sarabhai – A prominent Scientist and Industrialist, KasturBhai Lalbhai– well-known Industrialist and Ravi J Matthai- First Director(1965-72), the institute has progressed through all leaps and bounds and is currently on the frontier of centers for excellence nationally and globally. It’s the most competitive place to get in, and it is that for a reason; infact several reasons. The Institute is leading for its overall development and achievements in fulfilling its core mission of fostering entrepreneurship and promoting innovation. With a great alumni network over almost 48 years, and even better alumnus ranging from CEOs in top multinational companies, to quite a number of successful entrepreneurs, authors, professors and economists, it has a recognition of providing the best to the world. IIM A was collaborated with Harvard University during its early inception and the approach of teaching methodologies has been adapted from the university. Owing to this, the steps to enter the IIM A building is called ‘Harvard Steps’. Louis Kahn, the legendary architect designed the old campus of IIM A Building imbibing amazing geometrical design with bricks.
So, where does the inspiration come from? It’s all in the air and in the vacuum of these walls. Not just this, the best feeling is when you are sitting in front of Vikram Sarabhai Library (which is 24*7 open), and the gliding waves of air touches you. That’s where the inspiration comes from! The walk in front of those lawns is much more inspiring and full of ideas. If given a chance, this place is worth a visit and even more worthier to study in. There is so much to say but so less time (Use Google for more information). I can sleep with satisfaction now! One is writing after long and one of praising the place.
And I remember the quote I read few days back,
“Whether we like it or not, we all come from someplace. And at some point in our lives, we have to make peace with that place.”
I am sure, I have made peace with this place and this is how it inspires me through its walls which talk (It really does!).
Now, here I start posting photographs to my blog.
Each photograph I think has a story to tell and has no language. Art has no language. But, there are hidden tales between each click.
It all started back in 2011, almost a year ago when I bought my first camera Nikon D31oo and started experimenting with it. I have been to few places around and often clicked what I liked. Every small little thing has its own essence, and the world is beautiful in its own colors and confusion.
Now, that I have a blog, I wish to post some of the photographs over a period of time. And will take up some freelancing projects over any random issue that comes over. It’s just about walking to road and get your degrees and light right.
Here are some photographs over a rock concert, and it depicts the moment of life on a stage.
As we know, the world is our stage. . Look into the mirror. Identify. We are the stars.
